If you start from Shadowlands Fishing skill 1, it takes around 1 hour and 40 minutes to level to 200. Anima is the lifeblood of the Shadowlands. THE AVOWED (HIDDEN 5TH REPUTATION GRIND IN SHADOWLANDS) Why is this important 1. It will be of particular interest to Alchemists, since this is the source of the Recipe: Shadestone recipe. While this is a Revendreth-based faction, both Venthyr and non-Venthyr players can benefit from increasing their reputation with The Avowed. If you just simply want to farm fish, then you can go and farm with Fishing 1. The Avowed is a Neutral faction in Shadowlands. You will arrive there after you finish the Shadowlands intro quests, so you can learn the new. 
The only reason to level Fishing is for Achievements. Oribos is the new Shadowlands city hub for both factions. You will catch the same number of fishes with Fishing skill 1, as with Fishing skill 200.
